  • Emmett Conway, Pipe-Major

    Emmett was asked to take on the role of pipe major after the 2018 season following several years experience as a grade 1 pipe major in New Zealand, and prior to that a number of years in FMM. Emmett’s stable leadership has built a great young team at Shotts and the future looks bright.

  • Grant Cassidy, Lead-Drummer

    Grant has long experience in Grade 1, first as a drummer in the Shotts corps under Jim Kilpatrick, MBE, He taught the Corps at Uddingston Pipe Band where his father, John Cassidy, was Leading Drummer and ultimately took over the Uddingston Corps in 2018/19. Grant now tutors at Oban High School and Falkirk Schools and can be regularly seen playing with the Red Hot Chilli Pipers and other well-known Scottish folk groups.
